We just reported on this year’s Directors Guild Award winners, with The King’s Speech taking the top honor. Now the Screen Actors Guild have handed out their awards for the 17th time tonight, and it is no surprise that the The King’s Speech and The Fighter each took home two wins.
The Screen Actors Guild is comprised mostly of American actors (the largest branch of the Academy), so with The King’s Speech taking home the top prizes at the PGA, DGA, and now the SAGA, it seems to have the best chance of picking up the Oscar next month for Best Picture.
