Marvel, having already dominated the multiplex with its live action comic book films, is now looking to expand its box office universe with animation. Those of you who have been impatiently waiting to see some animated results from Disney’s purchase of Marvel, should find this very good news. Disney has adapted a fairly obscure Marvel property called Big Hero 6, another Marvel team of superheroes, and has released a quick 30-second preview. Directed by Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) and due in 2014, the CG-animated movie will center on a robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada and his robot companion BayMax, who join a team of superheroes in a high-tech city called San Fransokyo (a mesh between San Francisco and Tokyo).
