A not retiring anytime soon Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, and many podcasts) gives us our first real good look at his upcoming horror film, Tusk. Based on a prank craigslist ad that Smith and friend Scott Mosier discussed in depth on their Smodcast postcast, Tusk tells the story of a crazed old man attempting to turn a young podcaster into a walrus. Yep, a walrus. It can’t be emphasized enough that this film looks insane and twisted on every level. The film stars Michael Parks (Red State, From Dusk Till Dawn), Justin Long (Dodgeball, Jeepers Creepers), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), and Génesis Rodríguez (Casa de Mi Padre) and is set to be released by A24 Films this September 19th.
