Archie comes have gotten a little weird at times. Like the gang meeting the Punisher, a recent critically acclaimed zombie version, and even the recent death of the title character earlier this year. Things are about to get even weirder with a new four issue miniseries in the spring of 2015 when Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead meet the Predator.
IGN points out that the comic is not going to be as fun as the art style might imply and that the comic with in fact be as violent as any of the Predator films. The comic will be written by Alex de Campi and drawn by regular Archie artist Fernando Ruiz.
The plot begins with the gang on spring break in Costa Rica and Betty running off into the jungle after a fight with Veronica. While in the dense jungle it becomes clear that she is not alone and their return the America brings the alien hunter along with them.
