AMC and Anchor Bay Entertainment announced today that Anchor Bay Entertainment will distribute AMC’s original hit series, The Walking Dead, on Blu-ray™ and DVD in the U.S. and Canada. I personally couldn’t think of a better company to distribute the series. Anchor Bay has a great reputation of releasing quality products for feature films, children’s entertainment, fitness, TV series, documentaries, anime and more. They take pride in their releases and are always sure to respect the filmmaker’s work. You can be sure to expect some great bonus material since Anchor Bay usually packs in their DVD’s and Blu-ray with as much special features as possible. “The Walking Dead” premiered on AMC on Sunday, October 31st – Halloween night and its debut reigns as the biggest series debut in cable’s history among Adults 18-49 with 4.2 million*.
