So I was once extremely excited and highly anticipating Joe Johnston’s Captain America: First Avenger, but after being so completely disappointed with The Green Hornet, Green Lantern, Thor and X-Men First Class, I’ve lowered my expectations quite a bit. It doesn’t help that I now realize this movie is directed by the same man who brought us the incredibly dull remake of The Wolfman. In any case, six new stills have been released for the film which you can see below. Captain America will hit screens July 22, 2011. Let’s hope for the best.
