A Ghostbusters reboot has been massive news for a while now, but this latest update is something of absolutely Biblical proportions. I’m talking human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! Bill Murray will make a cameo in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters movie.
Murray was spotted on set in Boston and was later confirmed to be appearing in the movie via The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll join stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, along with with Dan Aykroyd, who back in July was also confirmed to be making a cameo.
It’s unclear whether other stars will return or if Murray is specifically appearing as Venkman, but then who you gonna call otherwise?
Murray’s involvement is a shocker namely because he’s been the resistant party in making a third Ghostbusters film happen.
Feig’s Ghostbusters will open July 22, 2016.
