Fantasia 2011: Win A Double Pass To The World Premiere of ‘Final Destination 5’ – We Got Tickets To Give Away

The Final Destination series which began as an unproduced script written by Jeffrey Reddick for the X-Files television series, has not only been financially successful but also popular amongst horror aficionados world-wide. The films have always pushed the boundaries centering on themes of determinism, predestination, and precognition, in relation to death. Innovative and unexpectedly influential, the films have always had a playful sense of dark humor and enough energy to keep an audience guessing till the end. The franchise became so popular that it has also spawned a related book series (published by Black Flame) and comic series (published by Zenescope Entertainment Inc).

Excited for the fifth entry in the Final Destination franchise? If you are reading this we assume you are. This fifth installment of the franchise, which has played host to planes, trains, and automobiles features a terrifying suspension bridge collapse that might just top it’s predecessors in scale.

The Fantasia Film Festival along with Warner Bros. will be hosting the World Premiere of Final Destination 5, on August 4th at 11:55 PM… and we have ten double passes to give away. Actress Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood will be attendance for the screening and all you have to do in order to win a pass is email Ricky @ [email protected] with the subject heading Final Destination 5. Let us know which of the first four films is your favorite. Ten random winners will be selected.

Remember folks, this is a midnight screening so make sure you can show up. Also keep in mind that you should arrive due to limited capacity.

This is the second of the Final Destination films to be shot in 3D. Final Destination 5 is directed by Steven Quale, marking his major feature film directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer.

The film brings together an ensemble cast, including Nicholas D’Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta, with David Koechner and Final Destination franchise icon Tony Todd. Rounding out the cast are Courtney B. Vance, P.J. Byrne, Ellen Wroe and Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood. Here is the trailer.

Synopsis: Death is just as omnipresent as ever and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But these unsuspecting souls were never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
