A trailer for the experimental documentary General Orders No. 9 has been released. Awarded for its visionary cinematography, General Orders No. 9 breaks from the constraints of the documentary form as it contemplates the signs of loss and change in the American South. Apparently the movie took over eleven years to make and is told entirely with images, poetry, and music, much like Baraka or Koyaanisqatsi. Check out the trailer below. Enjoy!
