Marvel to show all 11 movies before ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’

If, by some chance, you’ve never seen any of the Marvel superhero movies, then here’s your chance. Marvel, in association with AMC and Regal Theaters, will be re-airing the eleven films in cinemas preceding the release of the franchise’s latest film, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The catch? They’re playing them one after another for over 29 hours of footage, not counting additional time they may take to give people bathroom breaks, concession runs, and maybe an occasional nap. The films, which include the three Iron Man films, both Thor flicks, two Captain Americas, both the old and the new Avengers films, Guardians of the Galaxy, and 2008’s The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton as everyone’s favourite mad scientist.

So far there aren’t many locations offering this day long special. According to The Dissolve, AMC theaters will be showing the marathon in Kansas City, New York, Orlando, and Anaheim, while Regal will be bringing the super powered action to Atlanta, Houston, King-of-Prussia (which is located in Pennsylvania), and even to Ontario for Canadian audiences.

Admission to the event is $65 which, given the amount of time you’ll be there for, sounds like a steal.

Unfortunately costumes, concessions, and sleeping bags aren’t included.
