Sofia Coppola is one of the most highly-acclaimed young directors in Hollywood today, with a style that’s distinct from her famous father’s work, yet high in quality. Natalie Portman is similarly one of the most well-regarded young actresses, with a clear versatility demonstrated in numerous roles over her already long career. The two have only crossed paths once, however, when both were actresses on the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. While they have yet to work on a feature length film as director and actress, a new commercial for the perfume Miss Dior offers a glimpse into what could come of such a collaboration, with the addition of veteran stuntman and Zero Dark Thirty actor Nash Edgerton.
