Ricky Gervais and Emily Blunt are the latest high-profile celebrities to join the growing list of cameos in Disney’s new Muppets movie. Already part of the cast is Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
The story revolves around The Muppets reuniting after a huge falling out to save The Muppet Studios in Hollywood. They have to put on a show in the Muppet Theater and get 10 million viewers to save the Studios from an evil Texas oil tycoon.
Other previously rumored cameos include Sean Penn, Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski and Ed Helms as Lady Gaga‘s entourage, Barbara Eden, Donald Glover, and Danny Trejo rumored to play a prisoner.
