The Exorcism Of Emily Rose (2005)

Rev. Moore performed an exorcism on a girl that was believed to be possessed. Unfortunately, it led to her death, and the rev. is being prosecuted.
The prosecuting attorney, Ethan Thomas, argues that Emily, the girl who died during the exorcism, had schizophrenia and was not demonically possessed.
He claims that all she needed was to be medically diagnosed, but that never happened. Erin Bruner, the defense attorney, argues that science alone cannot explain Emily’s condition, and therefore, Rev. Moore should not be held responsible for her untimely death.
The Ring (2002)

Rachel Keller, a newspaper reporter, is a bit skeptical about the story (urban legend) of an alleged videotape that kills people within seven days after watching it.

She can’t help but feel that Violet keeps an evil secret about her husband, Ben’s illness. He seems to be terrified of his wife, and Caroline is determined to find out the truth!
