One of the more surprising successes in comics during the last decade was Marvel’s literary adaptations like Ender’s Game and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The longest running of these adaptations and possibly the most popular were their comics set in the world of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. After over a year since we last one-shot, So Fell Lord Perth, and two years since the last mini-series, The Man in Black, Marvel is bring The Dark Tower back with The Dark Tower: Drawing of the Three – The Prisoner.
Now with a preview for the first issue, releasing in September, Marvel looks like they’re keeping The Dark Tower just as dark and strange as the fans have come to expect.
