One of the most popular series to emerge out of British television over the past few years has been the BBC series Sherlock. A modern day re-imagining of the iconic detective, the series co-created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss has garnered a number of fans, despite having only six episodes over two seasons, with the last episode airing in early 2012. With leads Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman finding their individual stardom, fans were excited to learn that the show would be returning for a third installment, with the cast intact. Set to begin airing in the UK on January 1st, 2014, nearly two years after the last season, the team has released a mini-sode ahead of the show’s premiere, which can be seen below.
