Awkward continues the season by closing out another potential source of conflict in Matty’s life while indicating potential signs of regression in Jenna, along with developing Lissa’s ill-advised storyline.

Eva drops a bombshell on the group as Sadie discovers a secret about the true identity of Matty’s girlfriend in an episode that manages to be fun despite some jarring storytelling choices.

The fourth season starts off on the right foot in this episode, with both Jenna and Sadie finding themselves in unfamiliar positions as everyone feels the pressure of senior year.
