A while back we posted some terrific posters from the Oscar campaign for Toy Story 3. The posters launched by the mouse house — Industry trade newspaper advertisements featured the Toy Story characters aping some of the great motion picture nominees of the past including Shakespeare In Love and The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King. The ambitious Oscar campaign has just launched the rest of the posters, this time using The Godfather, Titanic, Silence of the Lambs, Slumdog Millionaire and more. You can see the images below. We also recommend you check out our previous post where you can see the previously released posters.

Here is what Rich Ross, Walt Disney Studios Chairman had to say:
“Everyone at Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios is immensely proud of TOY STORY 3. Featuring dazzling imagery and a heart-rending story by Michael Arndt, it is undeniably an original in every way. We wanted our campaign, therefore, to honor this very special film’s inventiveness, and its uniqueness with like-minded, self-effacing good humor, and to the point, with something original of our own. Calling out these fun-loving comparisons to Best Picture winners from Oscar’s past matched with specific images from the film, we feel, reminds us of the many unforgettable moments from TOY STORY 3, and what we love about it in the first place. We believe in TOY STORY 3′s capacity to disarm and transport even the most world-weary of us, and we hope these images go even a small way to bring a smile to your face, and remind us what the best movies are capable of doing, getting inside of us and never letting go.”
