Twitter has released a list of the movies that were most mentioned on Twitter in 2010. It is no shock that Christopher Nolan’s Inception topped the list. However I was surprised to see Despicable Me and The Chronicles of Narnia make an appearance. I thought perhaps Toy Story 3 would have made the cut considering it grossed over a billion dollars world wide but apparently that is not the case. Also worth noting is the inclusion of Paranormal Activity 2 thanks to Paramount’s successful social-focused marketing campaign “Tweet your scream”.
